Poor Jill just can’t seem to get a break with Momma. Then again, maybe she shouldn’t be sassing someone who can fold her in two like a napkin. As it stands, Alli is currently experimenting with computer colouring. She’s not sure if she can produce pages at the current speed, yet. So, we’re going to do some practice pictures (Which will probably go into the gallery) so that she can get a hang of it. The reason I’m mentioning this is we were wondering if the fans would prefer that we remain in the black/white style or if colour would interest you guys/girls.
Let us know!

I would suggest continuing the /comic/ in B&W until you get to some major change of scene/environment then going color — like “The Wizard of Oz” (1939) Other artwork in color.
Simply my 2 cents (US)
You don’t want to see Jill in colour Bill?
Of course I do!
I simply think it would be a neat plot device like it was in TWoO. If you remember, the film started on the farm in B&W but became Technicolor when the house landed in Oz and Dorothy stepped out. That emphasized it was a whole new, magical situation.
Sadly, there won’t be much of a huge ‘change in scenery’, but there will be a big reveal soon enough. Might be worthwhile looking into that suggestion, but it may come quicker than anticipated if we do it that way.
I /love/ Jill’s expression in the last panel!
I have feeling her ability to see in the dark will be explained
Ya Jill can’t see in the dark any better then any other person. She stepped on a switch which opened the metal door in the second last panel which let in some light. That’s why she’s has so much white in the last panel.
Or bake her into a cake. Momma could totally cake-ify her.
Though, I dunno if she’d make a good cake.
Maybe a layer cake style dress would suit her. But not being a real cake.
Oh, right!
I think you should try colorizing, like, the next chapter, not changing to color mid-chapter. Or the chapter after if you’re already working on the next one. That way, you could work on them in advance, taking your time, and it wouldn’t be a sudden change. Do one chapter, see how you and the fans like it, and then if it doesn’t work out, switch back the next chapter (or one after that if you already prepped two in color by then).
…I hope that all makes as much sense in type as in my head, I am totally on a coffee hype right now! THREE cappuccinos! With whipped cream and caramel! WOO!
I wonder if Momma offers coffee in her bakery?
The first 4 panels are basically the ending of a SAW movie.
HAHAHAHAHAHAHAAHAH! Love it.
Though I am new to the comic, these are my thoughts:
Either colorize everything or splash pages only. Color is cool and attention grabbing and can help draw attention to specific pages, also in this way it lessens the load for the colorist. On the other hand, black and white is usually considered the norm only in certain styles, such as a noir. I don’t know if the lack of color really helps this comic, which would imply color would – at leas that is my experience as a reader.
